About Us
Mechanized Numerics is a general-purpose machine shop with milling and turning services available. We're a relatively small company that operates with minimal overhead, allowing for competative pricing. The majority of our products are both designed and fabricated in-house however we're also available for contract manufacturing.
As advertised, our specialities include working with intricate aluminum fixturing projects and extensive 3d surfacing. This is apparent in the final products leaving the machine, as our toolroom has concentrated on equipment highly suitable for aluminum workpieces of this type. Other parts following a similar format can be created through a very cost-effective combination of programming and tooling.
History
Mechanized Numerics (MNL) was formed in 2009 in effort to expand the fabrication abilities of contract work being done for the fluid power industry. In the months that followed, the machine shop was expanded to encompass additional manufacturing for new projects and markets. A secondary goal of the business was to provide unique design options for automation technologies used in workcell and process development activities.
In 2011 we created a subdivision called Nummech which is meant to specifically support non-industrial products and services. Through this brand we sell a number of parts and equipment made for camera components, paintball accessories, vehicle parts, lighting accessories, and others. We provide OEM products for several companies looking to maintain a foothold in US-based production.
Presently, one of our main ambitions is continuing to provide cost-effective manufacturing solutions for other businesses and manufacturers seeking US-based manufacturing. We've always offered quality and accountability as a main feature of our work. In the future we will continue providing a short-line manufacturing option that easily competes with low-cost labor markets.
